Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, stable, and detail-oriented Jr Executive Assistant to support a serial entrepreneur overseeing multiple businesses under one roof, including a rental company with approximately 10 long-term rental properties.

This role is ideal for a highly organized self-starter who can bring focus, structure, and clear priorities to a wide range of projects and daily operations. The Executive Assistant will act as a first point of contact, helping filter requests to management, solve problems independently, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently; whether by doing the work directly, preparing what’s needed, or delegating appropriately.

Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to “jump in” where needed are essential. Tech-savviness, adaptability, and professionalism are key to success in this role.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of contact for management, handling phone, email, and in-person inquiries

  • Support senior staff with bookkeeping, property management, and administrative tasks

  • Communicate directly with tenants and guests, including scheduling, issue resolution, and follow-ups

  • Update and manage contracts, records, and documentation

  • Show rental properties and meet with tenants or guests as needed

  • Update websites and online listings

  • Assist with resolving discrepancies and operational issues

  • Post items for sale and manage related communications

  • Assist with setting up for events (including weddings) on occasion

  • Perform or assist with cleaning rentals or guest rooms when required

Work may take place indoors or outdoors, depending on daily needs.

 


 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Professional, calm, and solution-oriented demeanor

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems

Practical skills include (but are not limited to):

  • Google Docs and Google Sheets

  • Excel spreadsheets

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

 


 

Compensation

  • $18/hour starting wage for the first 100 hours of training

  • $21/hour after 150 hours, pending performance review

  • Performance reviews and pay adjustments based on performance, aptitude, pace, efficiency, and leadership

 


 

Hours & Schedule

  • Full-time: 20–40 hours per week

  • Scheduled work hours fall between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM

  • Flexible schedule required

  • Ability to work some weekend shifts is required
