Rehoming 2 male caiques.
We are in no hurry at all as we want to find the best possible home that is similar to what they know.
Must have prior parrot experience and be familiar with the temperaments of Caiques.
Best home would have no children.
New owner would need to be able to afford an avian vet when necessary. They are established with an avian vet.
They are used to having someone around pretty much all the time.
We would want to see your environment, in person if local or facetime. Pictures if farther than an hour away.
We would want you to come to our home for a few visits to see the interaction. Or facetime calls.
We would bring the birds to you if we choose you. Doesnt matter where you are.
They are both flighted and spend a lot of time outside the cages.
They have a strict 8:30 to bed, 8:30 to get up. 12 hours of sleep keeps them happy and healthy.
When we decide on a new home the birds will come with sleep cages, outdoor cages, indoor cages, an insane amount of toys, treats, a winter backpack and a summer backpack, the recipe for their chop.
It seems like a lot but birds are a different kind of pet. One is 6 years old that we have had from hatch day. The other is a rescue who is 8 years old. Both came from the same breeder and most likely are either siblings or cousins.
