Help needed to perform maintenance, upkeep, and other duties as assigned by the Property Manager. Principal duties are performed in an outdoor environment and may expose the employee to adverse weather conditions and/or excessive noise. Position requires working closely and cooperatively with the Manager and the Homeowners, as well as integrity, independent judgment and initiative. Daily activities include, but are not limited to: ~Lawn mowing, trimming, & raking debris ~Snow & ice removal from common areas & private properties ~Pressure washing various surfaces ~Irrigation maintenance, including hand digging irrigation trenches ~Patrol and removal of litter & debris from common areas ~Operation & maintenance of light to mid-size machinery ~Building maintenance & light carpentry ~Other activities may include cleaning, painting, heavy lifting Qualifications: Applicants should enjoy working outdoors in all climates, and be able to follow instructions with little supervision. Be honest, hard-working, trustworthy, punctual, and neat in appearance. ~High School diploma/GED equivalent & valid state driver's license. Pass background check. ~Knowledge in the safe and proper handling of various hand and power tools. ~Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds frequently & up to 75 pounds occasionally. Priority will be given to a permanent applicant, but seasonal applicants are encouraged to apply. Hours: Part-time, M-F. 16-24 hours/week. Hours vary with seasons. 16 hours typical of spring/fall, 24 typical in summer, with the possibility of more when special projects are introduced. Limited weekend work possible (required), typically during the Winter, as needed for snow removal or other emergencies. Salary:$18.00-$20.00 DOE. This is a non-smoking and drug free environment.
