Pool Service Technician: Part Time/Seasonal

Summary of Duties:  Pool Service Technician are primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the Pools, Pool Decks and surrounding areas. Opening and Closing the pools at designated time frames. Perform minor repairs, maintenance of pool area and equipment.

Split Shift Open:  7:00 am-9:00 am and close 8:00-9:00pm (except when it gets dark earlier Late August)

Daily Duties:

~ Open and Closing Procedures (to include but not limited too) cleaning pool area, chairs, Tables, trash and umbrellas. Removal of debris from pool water, deck and tables and chairs. Sweep fence line for cob webs.

~Testing and adjusting pool water chemical levels to ensure they meet health and safety standards. Check water levels.

~Cleaning and maintaining pool filters, pumps and other pool equipment. Perform and minor repairs and communicate any major repairs to ABC Management.

~Documenting all pool maintenance and repair activities for record keeping purposes.

~Order and or pick up cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for pool maintenance and repair.

~Handle any customer complaints in a professional manner. (Report to ABC Mgt.)

~Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

~High School Diploma or Equivalent

~Pass a Background Check

~Valid Driver’s License.

~Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures (Can be trained prior to season)

~Excellent customer service and communication skills.

~Detail oriented and able to keep accurate records.

~Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

~Knowledge of safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.

REQUIRED:  Must have a business License with Idaho State and current liability Insurance coverage.

*Please note this is a contractor position under ABC Management, and PT with no benefits.
