Retail Store Clerk Position




This position requires an outgoing personality, ability to deal with the public, good communication and money handling skills.  


 


Tasks and Responsibilities 




Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.




- Sales of store product.


- Stocking of product.


- Take boat rental reservations.


- Cleaning of rental boats. 


- Checking in/out boat rentals.


- Answer telephone.


- Sales of Fishing/hunting licenses.


- Taking out trash at all locations throughout the marina when needed.


- Tidying and stocking restroom facilities.


- Directing traffic to park in proper locations on land and by water.


- Fuel sales by water.


 


 


Requirements:


- Employment commitment of Memorial Day through Labor Day of the current year. 


- Physical ability to withstand summer temperatures and direct sun.


- Money Handling Skills 


- Customer Service Skills


- Telephone and Computer skills


- General boating knowledge preferred but will train the right person


- Ability to work varied hours, including weekends, and holidays as needed 


- Get along and interact with customers and co-workers 


- 18 years or older 


 


Compensation:


-Starting pay rate of $18/hr.
