Job description Bonner Taxi Is Hiring!

We are located in Sandpoint Idaho and are looking for a part time driver. We are specifically looking for Saturday day shift, Sunday day shift, and Monday night shift. Day shift - 10AM to 6PM Night shift - 6PM to 3AM

Taxi Driver Responsibilities:

1. Collecting clients at the start of their journey. Assisting clients with the loading and unloading of their baggage and other personal belongings, as needed.


2. Starting and stopping the taximeter at the correct times.


3. Selecting the fastest route to the client's destination, unless otherwise requested. Driving clients to their destinations.


4. Informing clients of services and attractions that may be of interest to them.


5. Adhering to road regulations. Ensuring that clients remain safe throughout the journey.


6. Processing cash payments, ensuring that you carry sufficient change at all times.


7. Ensuring that the vehicle remains clean and in excellent working condition.

Taxi Driver Requirements:

1. Must be over 21 Valid driver's license.


2. Valid license or permit to transport passengers.


3. Clear criminal record.


4. Familiarity with GPS software.


5. Well-groomed, professional appearance.


6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.


7. Outstanding interpersonal skills.


8. Ability to work shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.


9. Preferred but not required - Have had a similar position previously.


10. Preferred but not required - Know the North Idaho area well


11. Preferred but not required - know or be willing to learn square payment system and google suite

Taxi Driver Compensation:
Drivers are paid on commission and keep 50% of the total fare and 100% off all their tips.
